ABOUT
Ricky is a dedicated Christian School Consultant passionate about reshaping educational culture. With over three decades of experience in Christian education, Ricky provides expert guidance to empower schools in creating motivating, innovative, and faith-based learning environments. Married to Carolyn Sykes Rigsby for 54 years, he has served in Christian ministry since 1968 and is proud of his four adult children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Holding a BA from East Texas Baptist University and an M.Ed. from Oral Roberts University, Ricky is eager to assist your Christian school in advancing the Kingdom.
With a focus on professional development and faith-based training, Ricky is committed to supporting educators, parents, and students in their journey towards academic and spiritual growth. His approach is centered on fostering a positive and nurturing educational experience rooted in Christian values.
Fifty-seven years. That's how long I've been in pastoral ministry. Thirty-seven of those years have been spent in Christian education administration. Every one of them has confirmed the same conviction: the next generation desperately needs to know the truth of God's Word and how to live it out.
I've watched too many bright, promising young people walk into adulthood, then walk away from Jesus and the church. I've also watched many others grow into Godly parents, business leaders, and ministers — the kind of men and women who anchor families and shape communities for generations. The difference, almost without exception, comes down to whether they were equipped with a genuine Biblical Worldview that they didn't just hear about, but learned to live.
My Story
I came to faith and to ministry because pastors and leaders invested in me. They didn't just preach at me — they walked with me, mentored me, and showed me what a life surrendered to Christ actually looks like. That investment changed the trajectory of my life, and I've spent the decades since trying to pay it forward. Along the way, God gave me my greatest earthly blessing: my wife Carolyn, my partner now for 54 years. Together we've raised 4 children, watched 10 grandchildren grow, and welcomed 3 great-grandchildren. I am most proud of my family — not because they're perfect, but because they love Jesus and are passing that love down.
